I have found that using Displacement maps and a setup of nodes is better and faster than using the Ocean modifier. Today’s experiment I plan to show off both. I think the biggest thing I hated about Blender was the “Holier than thou” attitude for using freeware and then do nothing to help you or mock you for not knowing.
